Connecticut January 2, 1775 20s Extremely Fine. A lovely example which faces up much nicer than its technical grade. There is a long cancellation through the center of the note and were it not for a left edge tear this would be problem free. There are three strong red signatures and serial number which is bold as well. Bold print quality is clearly evident on both sides. There are four separate emissions from 1775 and this is by far the scarcest of the four. In this cataloger's several years in the colonial paper money field this is the first time one of these has availed itself to the best of our knowledge.
