    This private bank was the first Canadian bank west of the Great Lakes. This well circulated piece represents the most available denomination from this issuer with just 100 examples recorded, according to the Charlton reference. A robbery closed this bank for good in 1864. PMG Fine 12, with a tear and internal splits.
