    Description

Toronto, ON- The Canadian Bank of Commerce $20 Jan. 2, 1917 Ch. # 75-16-04-20a
A strikingly attractive example of this higher denomination with a bright yellow background tint combined with a blue, green, lilac and rose colored central vignette. The reverse of this lightly folded $20 is a blazingly vivid orange. While occasionally available in the lower grades, this Canadian bank note is prohibitively rare above the Very Fine level and tonight's offering is the finest we have ever handled of this Charlton number.
