    Yukon Overprint $100

Toronto, ON- The Canadian Bank of Commerce $100 1898 Ch. 75-14-57Sb Specimen
This is a colorful ABNCo specimen with the blue "Yukon" overprint on either side of the central vignette. There are no known issued notes of this design. This specimen was printed two years after gold was discovered in the Klondike. It must have been destined for the gold fields, but it was derailed for some reason. The label reads pinholes. There is one pinhole each in the bottom corners. It also has a red serial number of "00000" and "Specimen" has been overprinted in each of the lower corners. PMG Choice About Unc 58, POC.
