Description

Toronto, ON- Imperial Bank of Canada Counterfeit $100 Jan. 2, 1917 Ch. # 375-16-24C
These notes were said to have been printed by the Germans during World War I, and though not used in Canada itself, used overseas. This note would prove that point, as a handstamp which appears to be from the "Imperial Bank of Persia, Resht" is seen in the lower left. A truly interesting variety, especially with the handstamp. Void cancellations and "COUNTERFEIT" handstamps are seen. About Uncirculated.
