    It is interesting to note that no face proofs for the 1901 $10 issue or back proofs for the 1888-1912 issues are listed in the Charlton Canadian Bank Notes guide. The face proof is graded PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ, while the back proof has garnered a grade of PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. Written on the back in pencil on both proofs is the statement, "received from Canada Oct. 31, 1932"
