DescriptionQuebec, QC- William Price Co. 6d (12 Sous) April 16, 1850 Ch. # QC-350-10-6b
Identified by PMG as scrip from the Price Brothers & Co., this note was likely issued under the auspices of their father's business, the William Price Company. William Price's company was timber company that was ultimately taken over by his sons in 1867 at which time they adopted the Price Brothers & Co. moniker. The brothers were likely very involved in the business from an early age, as indicated by David's signature on this piece dated 1850. PMG Very Fine 20 Net for some minor stains.
