Quebec City, PQ- The Union Bank of Canada $10 June 1, 1893 Ch. # 730-12-04This bank was organized under a provincial charter in 1865 as The Union Bank of Lower Canada, changing its name to The Union Bank of Canada in 1886. In 1911 it acquired the United Empire Bank of Toronto, and the following year it moved its head office to Winnipeg, where it issued from 1912 until its acquisition by the Royal Bank of Canada in 1925. Bright Extremely Fine-About Uncirculated, a very scarce note.
