This well matched set of Specimens was originally sold by the Bank of Canada. Each note has an all-zero serial number and "Specimen" is printed twice on the face and once on the back except for the backs of the $1 and $20, where it is lacking. On the $1,000, "Specimen" is printed twice on the back. The quantity sold, in denomination order from lowest to highest, is 9, 9, 110, 110, 9, 9, 9, and 7. Every note in this set grades PMG Choice Uncirculated 64, previously mounted, except for the $1,000 and it grades PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 Net, previously mounted. Glue residue is common for these Specimens. Set numbers at back upper right are either 0045 or 0145, except that the $1,000 has set number 0515. The $1,000 also has "Specimen" roulette punched three times diagonally. This is the first time that we have been able to offer a complete Specimen Set from the 1954 Series.
