Stunning King George V $500 Specimen

    DC-28S $500 1925 Specimen PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
An attractive blue and black note, this Specimen features a mature portrait of King George V and an intricate blue back highlighting the denomination. The note is stamped SPECIMEN in red in the lower left corner and there are two small POCs in the signature spaces. In addition the serial numbers are both solid zeros. PMG notes that the note has been previously mounted. With seven issued notes known in private hands and only 40,000 originally issued there are not likely going to be many opportunities to acquire this design in any form.
