    DC-25i $1 1923 Experimental Note
    We have offered examples of this experimental note just two times previously with the last crossing our auction block in April 2008. Serial number C6399912 graces this test note printed on paper produced by the Howard Smith Paper Co. of Beauhamois, Quebec. This new paper supplier would eventually get the contract by replacing Crane & Co. of Dalton, Massachusetts. Purple seals were used on the test notes in order to make them easier to sort out for the wear studies. PMG Fine 12.
