    DC-22a-i $2 1914
Portraits of the Duke and Duchess of Connaught are seen on the face of this note that was printed with black ink and has brown and olive tints. The back design includes the Royal coat of arms surrounded by the shields of the nine provinces. This is an example of the variety with a hyphen in between the serial number and the series letter and with the curved "Will pay..." clause. The note was a product of the American Bank Note Co. Ottawa. This example displays even color and circulation overall. We have been able to offer these notes on very few occasions. PMG Very Fine 20.
