Bank of Acadia Highest Denomination Rarity

    Canada Bank of Acadia $20 - Liverpool 3.12.1872 Ch.#5-10-08 PMG Good 4.
A simply incredible offering, of which there are only a few examples extant. Despite extensive circulation and tape repairs, the overall design elements are still visible. Any banknote from the Bank of Acadia is prized, as issuance was small and scope of circulation was limited both geographically and in terms of population. Serial number 129 confirms that only a few bundles of this highest denomination type was issued. Tremendously rare and assuredly missing from almost all major collections.
