    Description

BC-55cA $2 1986 Replacement Uncut Pair and 1996 $2 Proof Piedfort Coin Set.
This Royal Canadian Mint set is housed in a leatherette case measuring approximately 8.5 by 10 inches when closed. The uncut pair of replacement $2's reside in a hard plastic case and the $2 bimetallic Proof Piedfort was struck in .925 silver with an inner core covered with 24-karat gold (per included Royal Canadian Mint Certificate of Authenticity). This set was to commemorate the replacing of the $2 note with the $2 coin in circulation. Availability was 15,000 sets world wide and the first that we have offered.
