    BC-37S $1 1954 Specimen PCGS Choice About New 58.
We do not believe that this Specimen came out of the Bank of Canada sale in 1999 as the J/A prefix was not utilized to make up sets. There is also no manuscript set number in evidence on the back. "SPECIMEN" has been neatly stamped four times on the face along with four small punch cancels in the signature area. Even with the limited offering by the Bank of Canada sale, these remain very scarce, with this note, the only example of the Specimen that has passed through our auctions. A lovely note with no condition distractions such as tape stains often encountered on the Bank of Canada sale examples.
