DescriptionBC-25c $20 1937.
An attractive Female with Scythe allegorical representation of fertility serves as the central vignette on the back of this lovely $20. That engraving also appears on the backs of the 1935 $500 notes. A.E. Foringer painted the vignette and Robert Savage engraved it. Savage, a prolific engraver, reportedly said that he would rather engrave than go on vacation. PMG About Uncirculated 55.
