Heritage Internet Currency Auction Results Sale #34062

Dallas, Texas: Heritage's 608-lot Internet CurrencyAuction.com sale #34062, which closed Wednesday night, June 30, sold 539 lots (88.65% of lots offered). Total sales were $80,424.80. With 414 bidders participating, 184 were successful.

Every single-item lot includes full-color enlargeable images of the obverse and reverse, to help bidders determine their bids with confidence.

Below are some of the highlights from the June 30 CurrencyAuction.com sale:

Honolulu, HI - $50 1929 Ty. 1 Bishop First NB Ch. # 5550
A lovely, fully margined Choice Crisp Uncirculated example from our fiftieth state. It has excellent color, great centering, and comes very close to a Gem grade. Realized $2,578.50

Fr. 1916-G* $1 1988A Federal Reserve Star Note. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
A very rare star serial number mismatch from the Florida collection bearing serial numbers G11409924* and G00409924*. It is every bit as nice and only three digits removed from a similar example we sold in our September 2003 sale which realized $3650, and, in an active market for better errors, will very likely reach or exceed that figure today. Realized $2,300.00

Fr. 2211-G $1,000 1934 Federal Reserve Note. Crisp Uncirculated.
A small spot near the upper-right serial number and a little light handling are the only flaws on this attractive, fully Uncirculated example from the Chicago district. Realized $2,242.50

CurrencyAuction.com sales close (and a new sale begins) at 10pm CT on the 15th and 30th day of every month. The complete prices realized along with full-color images of every coin in this sale, and all other Heritage auctions, are available at no charge to Heritage Coin members in the Permanent Auction Archives (membership is totally free).
