Description

T39 $100 1862 PF-4 Cr. 293.
The back endorsement indicates that John Boston, the Collector at Savannah, GA, issued this note on July 24, 1862. Two additional Savannah IP stamps show that the note may have never left a bank vault for the duration of the war. The note is in Choice About Uncirculated condition on fully framed, bright paper, with only the faint suggestion of teller handling along the right margin.
