Description

Germany Imperial Bank Note 100 Billionen Mark 26.10.1923 Pick 128 PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
Throughout 1923, inflation in Germany raged without restraint. With each passing month, banknotes were printed with higher and higher denominations, culminating with this 100 Billion Mark. This was the highest denomination in the ninth series of banknotes issued in 1923. PMG has graded a mere five examples of this type at the time of writing. Pack fresh originality is seen on this rather unassuming rarity. Not to be missed, as this is a seriously rare banknote, especially in Gem Uncirculated grade.
