T12 $5 1861 PF-1 Cr. 48.An uncancelled plate letter H example of this note that was printed by Jules Manouvrier of New Orleans. This is the only Confederate note with the words "Confederate States of America" printed on the back. The T12 values are high in the Fricke reference no matter what the grade or impairments as only 15,556 notes were issued. PCGS Apparent Fine 15, edge tears and damage, mounting remnants on the back, and stains.
