Description

Low Serial D900A Fr. 757 $2 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PCGS Banknote Gem Unc 66 PPQ.
A lovely Battleship with strong embossing of the right serial number. Cleveland is well known for its low serial numbers within large size FRBNs. The Cleveland district only issued $1, $2, and $5 FRBNs and low serial numbers are known for all three denominations. The collectors of today must applaud the efforts of assistant cashier of the Cleveland Federal Reserve Bank, head of the cash department, and fellow paper money collector, Charles Bickford, who saved many low serials amongst those three denominations.
