Similar to Milton 3E10F.2a 10¢ Third Issue Experimental PCGS Banknote Choice Uncirculated 63.This is an intriguing Experimental that is similar to Milton 3E10F.2a, but it is missing the two half moon cancels, although it does have the three round punch cancels. This ex-F.C.C. Boyd, ex-Ford piece has the plate position indicator number "1" up against the frame line. Although there is plenty of left margin, the entire left edge of the design does not show. Presumably, this was an abnormality with the plate itself. Carmine purchased this from our January 2009 sale, where it was Lot 12221. PCGS Banknote comments, "Minor Paper Toned, Minor Pencil."
