Description

Likely Unique Friedberg 1310 Uncut Sheet of Sixteen

Fr. 1310 50¢ First Issue Complete Sheet of Sixteen. PMG About Uncirculated 53.
Unique to our best knowledge and a prize for any collector of Fractional Currency. Milt Friedberg never had a multiple of any configuration for Fr. 1310 and neither did Tom O'Mara. There are a few Fr. 1310a pairs known, but this very nearly perfect complete sheet is almost certainly unique in our hobby. Its single prior appearance was in the spring of 2004 and it has been off the market with a single owner since that time. No doubt the assigned PMG grade is accurate due to some corner folds in the wide selvage, but the sheet certainly has the appearance of a Choice Uncirculated item. This cataloger has owned or auctioned virtually every significant Fractional Currency note that has appeared on the market since the 1970s and is highly impressed by this sheet. Irreplaceable.
