Fr. 2210-D $1,000 1928 Federal Reserve Note. PCGS Gem New
65PPQ.Showcasing exceptionally bright paper with the combination of a bold, green overprint and strike-through embossing, this 1928 $1,000 is a beauty in hand. Coming from the fourth district of Cleveland, this nice high denomination note earned a Gem New 65PPQ grade from PCGS. Last January, we auctioned a PMG 64 without EPQ for a total of $9,600. The lovely note in this lot will certainly see a five figure realization.
