Jacksonville, FL - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 613 The Atlantic
National Bank Ch. # (S)6888 PMG Very Fine 25.This is a scarce state for Red Seals, with the current National Currency Foundation census showing 35 examples from all banks in Florida combined. About a quarter of that total comes from this Jacksonville bank, including the only three $100 Red Seals known from the state. This piece is one of the nicer examples, with a vivid red overprint and pleasing, even wear.
