Description

Richmond $100 1929 Brown Seal Star

Fr. 1890-E* $100 1929 Federal Reserve Bank Note. PMG Choice Extremely Fine 45.
Despite the mention of a margin tear in the right margin at upper right which affects nothing, this note is likely the second finest known example for the issue. Just 36,000 notes made up the replacement run from the Richmond district. The Jhon E. Cash 1929 FRBN census lists seven examples known. This note is the fifth different serial number we have offered at auction.
