Garfield, WA - $20 1929 Ty. 2 The State NB Ch. # 12231Despite chartering in 1922, this institution decided not to issue notes until after 1933 as it only issued Type 2 National Bank Notes. In the last five years, only one other note from this bank has been offered at auction, another VF that doesn't compare to this perfectly original and still boldly embossed beauty. That piece realized $1,380 back in 2006. PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ.
