Litchfield, MN - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 613 The First NB Ch. # (M)6118Well worth a stop in this Meeker County locale is the architecturally distinguished Grand Army of the Republic Memorial Hall, formerly Ralph Daggett Post #35 of that once powerful veterans' organization and now maintained as a local history museum. This offering is one of only three Red Seals recorded on this Litchfield bank and is a nice mid-grade PMG Very Fine 25. With one of the other Red Seals never having been publicly offered and the other reported as an About Good, this piece is the only realistic option for Minnesota collectors of this bank.
