A nice mid-grade Series 10 $5 Boston Demand Note with more than satisfactory penned signatures, this note exhibits even circulation throughout. More than 70 government clerks were enlisted to sign Demand Notes for the Register of the Treasury and Treasurer of the United States. We see a few closed pinholes within the Freedom vignette, but they are for the most part tiny and not noticeable unless you have a strong light and are looking for them. Very Fine 25 is a high-grade for Demand Notes as Track & Price lists only 14 non-Proofs with a higher grade out of 122 that have been enumerated.
