The remarkably bold blue tint on this B plate Rainbow Woodchopper further elevates this example which has achieved PMG's Exceptional Paper Quality designation for its full originality. Vivid red and green inks on both the face and back also contribute to aesthetic appeal, as does serial number embossing. While a grand total of 596 examples of this number have been certified by PMG, according to the PMG Population Report, just 14 of that number have been awarded our current offering's grade level, and only three other examples have attained an even higher grade. This piece is undoubtedly one of the nicest we have ever had the privilege of auctioning for the number. We last offered it in January 2024 as part of our FUN Currency Signature Auction, and it realized $16,800.
