This is one of only two Lazy Deuces reported from this Troy bank and the only one of the pair to have made a public appearance in the past 30 years. It saw only light circulation, but it was exposed to strong light for a lengthy period and, as a result, the red overprint is faded including the Treasury Seal. The paper is toned and there is a minor repair within the flag. Still, it represents a rare and popular type and denomination and retains bold pen signatures.
