Cuba Republic 10,000 Pesos 1950 Pick 85s Specimen
A portrait of Ignacio Agramonte (1841-73) is seen at center on this rare 10,000 pesos specimen. Agramonte, a Cuban revolutionary, played an important role in the Ten Years War that took place from 1868-78. He was killed on May 11, 1873 during the Battle of Jimaguayu. This desirable specimen has been graded by PCGS as Very Choice New 64PPQ. The note displays small hole punches at the two signatures and has a red serial number of five zeros. A scarce example destined for the collection of an advanced collector of Cuban material.
