Portraits and Vignettes Engraved by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing Treasury Department Three Volumes Unpaginated circa 1893-97Presented here are three large illustrious volumes at the pinacle of the BEP's art. Presidents, politicians, government officials, soldiers, allegorical figures, government buildings, eagles, vignettes, etc. are all within the covers of these exquisite three volumes. The leather bound books were crafted from the finest materials and consist of ribbed spines, decorative end boards, interleaved pages, gold leaf on the covers, and gilt edges. The top and bottom of the spines show some wear and flaking, but these books are unique in the 12mo size and as a three volume set. These tomes are destined to become a capstone for a glorious numismatic library.
