Tiffin, OH- Bank of Ohio Savings Institute $1 July 1, 1852The Bank of Ohio Savings Institute was reported in the contemporary press as a "shinplaster swindle." There were several different designs for the $1 notes. This is the variety that includes a Native American family on a bluff. Very Good with evidence of a prior mounting.
