This attractive trade note remainder includes a vignette of a train car on a track loaded with coal. Had it been issued, this note would have been good for $1 worth of merchandise at the company store. The back has a decorative design in brown ink. The company, located in Latimer County, was originally named Ola. It was later named for Lutie Hailey Walcott, the daughter of Dr. Daniel M. Hailey. He was a prominent mining operator as well as a merchant. Very Choice Crisp Uncirculated.
