Ann Arbor, MI- Government Stock Bank $1 July 1, 1851
In 1849 the bank's original name was the Farmers & Merchants Bank. This fraudulent bank closed in 1854. This example is the variety with "State Treasr." A vignette of a Native American mother and child is seen at lower right. Very Good.
