Serial Number One $10 San Francisco Red Seal Federal Reserve Note
Fr. 903a $10 1914 Red Seal Federal Reserve Note PCGS Very Choice New 64PPQ.The $10 San Francisco district serial number 1 specimen. The originality is screamingly evident, the colors as bright as the day the note was printed, and the paper quality second to none, with the sole reason this note received a grade of Very Choice New 64PPQ rather than Gem New 65PPQ being the back design, which is centered just a bit low. Again, we will opt for a conservative estimate, but it would not surprise us at all to see a realization well in excess of the figure below.
