Fr. 203--One of Seven Known
Fr. 203 $50 1863 Interest Bearing Note Very Fine. One of only seven examples known to exist--most right around this grade. This piece has excellent color, and is problem free save for a few minor well-repaired splits and a close top margin. The note is from the December 1998 sale of the Frank Levitan Collection where it realized $22,000 (the $2200 figure in the Gengerke census is a typo). All $50 Interest Bearing Notes are extreme rarities and this note should see considerable action this evening.Auction Info
