Fr. 2150-L* $100 1928 Federal Reserve Note. Choice Crisp Uncirculated. This is easily the nicest example we have ever seen of this interesting error, which only occurred on a few of the lowest serial number sheets of 1928 San Francisco district $100 stars. We've seen circulated examples fetch several thousand dollars when offered, and it will be interesting to see what this utterly original and unmolested Choice Uncirculated inverted star specimen realizes when the bidding stops tonight.Auction Info
