Just 2,400 1934 $5000 Federal Reserve Notes were printed for the Kansas City District. Only the Cleveland District received fewer notes, though notes from that district remain unknown. According to our records, this beautifully original note has never before been offered at public auction. It features wholly original paper with crisp, sharp corners and full margins. The fully embossed overprint is a pleasing light green.
