Omaha, NT - $1 Original Fr. 380 The First NB Ch. # 209While it is the rare sale which has even one of the eight known Nebraska Territory specimens to offer, it is the unique sale which offers two of the eight examples known. This piece is one of four Nebraska Territorial aces listed in the census, and has been off the market since our consignor obtained it more than two decades ago. Only one Territorial specimen from this bank has traded since 1990, with no offerings since 1999, when a heavily restored example with several major problems sold for over $12,500. This example is an evenly circulated and decently margined note with good color and signatures for the grade. It's easily the finest Nebraska Territorial to sell since we sold the unique Series 1875 $20 twenty one years ago, and is certain to delight the one collector fortunate enough to bring this Territorial rarity home tonight.
