T15 $50 1861 PF-1 Cr. 79.Printed by the Southern Bank Note Company (the nom de guerre of the New Orleans branch of the American Bank Note Company), this red and black printed note is both one of the more beautiful and difficult to locate design types issued by the Richmond government. Graded a pleasing Very Fine 25 by PCGS with no mention of problems. This bright, non-cancelled piece should realize a strong price this evening.
