St. Louis, MO- The Bank of St. Louis $1 G70a ProofA beautiful Proof on card stock, with this note displaying a bright red "One" protector. This piece was produced by the American Bank Note Company and features as its central vignette the famous scene of a Native American hunter spearing a buffalo, known as Indian Buffalo Hunt, engraved by Robert Hinshelwood based on the work of artist Felix O.C. Darley. The vignette at lower left is The Bride engraved by Alfred Sealy. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ, with 6 POC.
