Fr. 42 $2 1869 Legal Tender PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ. Few examples of this issue boast the broad margins seen on this note. The swath of blue is not nearly as bold as usually encountered, though the embossing, front to back centering, and vivid green back are all ideal. Additional examination shows the USUSUS watermark which is somewhat scarcer than the regular issue, and generally unrecognized.Auction Info
