Fr. 2407 $500 1928 Gold Certificate. PMG Choice About Unc 58.This attention grabbing $500 Gold sports ideal black and orange-gold inks. The bane of many high denominations are teller counting smudges, not so with this wonderful example that also exhibits bright, clean paper. The last one of these we had at this grade level was encapsulated by PMG and in April 2008 it brought $29,900. The eye appealing note we offer tonight should seriously challenge that figure.
