PMG Extremely Fine 40 Net.Just 1,200 Kansas City 1934 $10,000 Federal Reserve Notes were issued, about a tenth of the number of notes that the New York District issued. In our Central States Signature Auction last year, a Kansas City example appeared, breaking a four year hiatus of offerings from this district. That piece was graded PMG Very Fine 30 Net and garnered $63,250. This attractive example is colorful and bright with full margins and deeply printed devices.
