King of Errors 1914 Boston $20/$10 Double Denomination
Fr. 964/Fr. 904 $20/$10 1914 Double Denomination Federal Reserve Note PCGS About New 50. Without question one of the most sought after errors in the history of paper money collecting. This example comes from a cut sheet of four which are still listed as the only known survivors for this Boston issue. Most likely offered originally as lot 4831 in the Grinnell auction graded Superb Crisp Unc., this sheet has long since been dispersed. Some folds may have been placed on this note in the past sixty-plus years, but bright color and plenty of eye appeal remain. Long held for many years this amazing note makes a return public engagement here this evening. A wonderful addition surely destined for the most advanced of error collections.
