Newly Discovered Inverted Overprint $10 NB & TC Skaneateles, NY
Skaneateles, NY - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The NB of Skaneateles Ch. # 5360This newly reported error is sure to create a stir this evening becoming just the sixth bank to have an overprint error as this recorded. The black portion is inverted which remains a bit scarcer than the brown inverted overprint variety. Both error guides place the value for this error type in the area of $25,000 - $35,000. Long held from the collecting community until now, expect our estimate here to perhaps prove conservative. PMG Choice Fine 15.
