Boston, MA- The Massachusetts Bank $100 June 1, 1858 G404cAnother Haxby plate note, with this the only signed and issued example we've ever seen, as even the encyclopedic Denly collection contained only a Proof of this note. This piece has 5 POC, along with the penned notation on the back "Cancelled Augt 9, 1868," although one of the POCs obliterates part of the last digit. Sharp Very Fine-Extremely Fine.
