Toronto, ON- The Canadian Bank of Commerce $1 May 1, 1867 Ch. # 75-10-02aAn extremely rare note from this bank's first issue dated May 1, 1867. It bears the distinctive "London" overprint in blue on both sides of the front. This note is only priced in grades through Very Fine in the Charlton reference, an indication of how truly scarce these early Canadian Bank of Commerce issues are. Nice Fine+, a high grade indeed for this rarity.
